Vibe Happy: 21 days to a more positive you

They say it takes around 21 days to break old habits and establish new ones. You are worth taking the time and investing in yourself! One of the most important negative habits to break is complaining and negative self-talk. It can be very limiting and can hold you back from reaching your potential. Now is the time to invite positivity into your life.
Join me for a 21 day "Complain Free Campaign". I'm asking you to go 21 consecutive days without complaining, criticizing, or gossiping. You won't win a tangible prize by joining but you will each receive the most powerful gift by changing your negative thoughts and patterns.
It's time to stop COMPLAINING about our upbringing, our boss, or whatever challenges we think are getting in the way of creating the lives we want. It's your time to take the reigns and steer the horse.

You can join in at any time. Here are the guidelines:
- Begin to wear a bracelet/hair tie/rubber band on your wrist. Use this as your reminder of your commitment to this challenge. When you put the bracelet on, say a positive affirmation and set your intent for the day. When you look at your bracelet throughout the day, use it as a reminder of your positive intent.
- When you catch yourself complaining, gossiping, or criticizing, move the bracelet to the other wrist. This provides a moment for you to acknowledge the behavior that you want to change and correct it with a positive thought. Being more aware of how often it happens in your life is the first step to changing the behavior. You are also 'changing your state' - you are interrupting a bad habit and replacing it with positive energy. Switching your bracelet to the other hand can even be done in social situations and no one will notice - so there is no excuse not maintain this over the the next 21 days. Doing this with a friend or loved one is an another great way to hold yourself accountable. If you hear someone else who is wearing the "bracelet" complain, it’s okay to point out their need to switch the "bracelet" to the other arm; BUT if you’re going to do this, you must move your bracelet first! Because you’re complaining about their complaining.
- Stay with it. It may take many months to reach 21 consecutive days. Be easy on yourself in the first few days - you may find you are switching hands often! Be sure to out loud or in your head correct your behavior to what you want it to be. "The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it.” (Marcus Aurelius) It may be hard but it will be worth it!
